‘A Treat for my Person’ quest walkthrough in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

“A Treat for my Person” tasks you with helping a rather precocious cat in Seesyde Village in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. To complete the cat’s side quest, you’ll need to create a special smoothie and then return to Seesyde Village.

In this The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom guide, we’ll help you start the “A Treat for my Person” quest and make the correct smoothie to treat the titular person.

In order to start the “A Treat for my Person” quest, you’ll need to have cat clothes — brown or black are both fine. You can get the brown pair of cat clothes during the “Questioning the Local Cats” quest in Kakariko Village, if you don’t have any yet.

Travel to Seesyde Village and head directly south of the warp point. You’ll find a calico cat looking at a woman fishing. Put on your cat clothes and talk to the cat. They’ll tell you that while their person over there isn’t very good at getting the fish they like, she sure does try. The cat wants you to get their person a gift, and they suggest a “warmix…spatial.”

The cat tells you to return to its homeland, the desert, to find such a concoction, and then bring it back. When you finish talking to the cat, you’ll get the “A Treat for my Person” quest.

Once you have your instructions, warp to the Oasis in Gerudo Desert and talk to the business scrub that runs the smoothie shop. Instead of selecting the “Smoothie, please!” dialogue option, instead pick the “Let’s chat.” option.

After some brief confusion, the business scrub will infer that you’re looking for a warm mixed special, for which they’ll then give you the smoothie recipe:

Now that you have the recipe, select the “Smoothie, please!” dialogue option and mix your ingredients together to get your warm mixed special. If you’re missing any of the ingredients, be sure to check out our smoothie ingredients guide.

Take the drink and teleport back to the Seesyde Village. Talk to the cat and you’ll be locked into a cutscene that will eventually see you give the drink over to the cat’s very confused owner. Despite not knowing who you are or where this drink came from, the woman will drink all of it and thank you for your service. The cat will then give you one Might Crystal for your trouble.
