The Stilled Desert Temple Ruins is an area you must explore in order to complete “A Rift in the Gerudo Desert” in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
In this main quest step for Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you must locate five of Tri’s friends to fix the rift and proceed, one of which is on a tricky rock column that may well stump you. Whether it’s that location, or another you’re stuck on, here’s how to get them all.

Though you can collect the following of Tri’s five friends in any order and aren’t specifically numbered, we’ve ordered them in a sequence that minimizes any running back and forth. If you’re not sure which one are you missing, then check the screenshots for an at-a-glance view of the locations you’ve already visited.
From where you first enter the Stilled Desert Temple Ruins, go north until you come to a suspended fallen tree, and a hole with a ladder leading underground to your right. Head down it.

In the side-scrolling area, go left along the bottom, being sure to bait the falling yellow blocks by getting close enough for them to drop but not hit you, then running underneath them as they ascend. Notably, you can kill these by attacking the squishy-looking yellow part of them when they fall. Doing so will net you a very useful Platboom Echo.
At the far end, you’ll come to two of these blocks stacked on top of one another, and one of Tri’s friends on the cliff above.
There’s a few ways to solve this puzzle, and here’s two solutions which worked for us.
One is placing objects that act as a set of stairs leading up, but won’t be destroyed when the blocks drop. We went for two boulders on the left, and a table and a trampoline on the right that are on a lower height, like so:

As previously mentioned, you can also kill these things and then build your staircase to avoid this mess.
Another is using Bind to grab and move the falling blocks to the side, then creating a staircase out of echoes to reach Tri’s friend.

Emerge out of the underground section, climb up the steps in the upper right corner, then continue right.

You’ll come to a wall with objects embedded in them, which can serve as a series of platforms so you can go up and left. You’ll need to use objects to bridge the gaps, however — we opted for a combination of beds and trampolines to do the job.

Now, scale the very top of this wall when you are high enough, and go right. You’ll see an island with a boulder. Bridge the gap with objects of your choosing — a staircase of beds will do — and then push the boulder to reveal another of Tri’s friends.

From where you find the Tri friend location listed above, go north to come to another wall with more objects you can use as platforms.

Go left until you reach another of Tri’s friends waiting at the end.

In the northwest corner of the Stilled Desert Temple Ruins region is where you’ll find this Tri friend. The easiest way to reach it is from the third friend on the list (the one just above), then scale the rock to the left, then leap across.

Here you’ll find a suspended Facette, and discover a Tri friend on a tree trunk.

Head to the area in the far southwest of the Stilled Desert Temple Ruins, which you can reach either by going south from the third or forth location on this list, or west from the underground section in the middle of the region.
When you get there, Tri’s friend will be on top of a tall rock column.

There’s a number of ways you can reach this. One is creating a column of water blocks (if you summon them in the same spot, they will stack), then surface up to the top.

Alternatively, any combination of objects to help you climb up works. For example, we managed it with a bed and a trampoline, then binding ourselves to an echoed bird to carry us over.

Once you have collected all five Tri friends, you will be teleported back to the start, signalling the end of the mini-dungeon. Tri will get a level boost, and you’ll receive two Might Crystals for your trouble.

After exiting the rift, you’ll then be able to tackle the Cryptic Cavern and the Gerudo Sanctum.
