‘Magnetic Study’ Minun Timed Research and event guide in Pokémon Go

“Magnetic Study” is an electric-type focused event taking place in the “Max Out” season of Pokémon Go.

Running Oct. 15-17, each day of the event has a unique bonus to take advantage of, as well as Timed Research focused around one of three Pokémon: Magnemite, Plusle, and Minun.

These Pokémon can also be caught throughout the event via Field Research, and all have an increased shiny chance if they are missing from your collection.

Each day of the event will have a new set of bonuses and Timed Research to complete, running from midnight to midnight local time:

As well as the aforementioned shiny chance boost, Magnetic Lure Modules are also more likely to attract the highlighted Pokémon.

Available only on Thursday, Oct. 17, you can complete the following steps to earn Minun encounters:

Rewards: Minun encounter, 2,500 Stardust, 5,000 XP

For those who checked into the event so far, the above steps are broadly the same as Tuesday’s Plusle and Wednesday’s Magnemite Timed Research, which you can view in full at the end of this guide.
