Heart pieces are a collectible in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, and essential for increasing your total health.
Note that heart pieces are not the same as the full heart containers you get for completing boss fights. Heart pieces are items you’ll find scattered throughout the map. Collecting four of them will get you an extra heart and increase your total max health by the same amount a single heart container does. There are 40 heart pieces in total.

Where to find heart pieces in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Heart pieces — like Stamp Stands — can be basically anywhere, but they tend to be in hard-to-reach places.
Look for them on top of pillars surrounded by enemies or at the top of hard-to-climb cliffs. You won’t have to defeat all the enemies to grab the heart piece, but it does make collecting it easier when you’re not dodging attacks.
You’ll also find a lot of them in caves and mini-dungeons scattered around the map. They’ll usually be behind some simple puzzle or on the other side of a tricky platforming section.
