Pokémon Go ‘Adventure Week’ 2024 event guide

Pokémon Go is holding its yearly fossil-themed “Adventure Week” event from Aug. 2-12. The event doesn’t debut any new fossil Pokémon, but it’ll be a good way to collect any fossils you don’t have or still need to evolve.

The event also has a few XP bonuses: doubled XP from spinning PokéStops, doubled XP from hatching Pokémon, and quintupled XP for your first PokéStop spin of the day.

The chance to find shiny Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura. These Pokémon are only available from eggs and research during this event, so you’ll need to collect eggs and get walking to find them.

Below, we list out all the perks for Pokémon Go’s “Adventure Week” event, including the Premium Timed Research, event field research, and boosted spawns.

For $1.99, you can nab a premium Timed Research themed around the “Adventure Week” event. Is the “Adventure Week” premium research worth buying? For value alone, yes. You’ll nab two regular Incubators and two Super Incubators, which is a steal. However, you’ll have to walk and hatch eggs to get this reward.

Since it’s Timed Research, remember that you’ll have to finish all the steps by Aug. 12 at 11:59 p.m. in your local time in order to claim all the rewards.
